Aberdeen

Aberdeen was on of the earliest developed places on Hong Kong Island. Starting over a hundred years ago, Aberdeen has been a village ocupied by many fishermen either on fishing boats or on land. The ''floating population'' is a characteristic part of Hong Kong shich is well represented here at Aberdeen. This fishing village is also famous for enjoying fresh seafood in the local restaurants including the floating restaurant which are anchored teh harbour.

The Floating Restaurants

The floating restaurants, which have their own motor boats to ferry customers to and from Aberdeen praya (waterfront), offer delicious seafood and are a particularly pretty sight at night.
